The lady though tried several times to open it. I admit, I had forgotten to put the 'do not disturb' sign on the doorknob, HOWEVER! I did lock the door. The final thing that annoyed me (and I admit it is partially my fault) was the room service cleaning crew. I didn't even have to bend over to see it. Also, I noticed that under the sectional/couch the lining was ripped and hanging down. We were able to hear people in the hallway, while I couldn't make out the actual conversation, it was still loud enough to hear their voices and tell it was a male and female.
The mattress was hard so I had a difficult time sleeping. If we left the curtains open then anyone waiting for the elevator could see in without trouble. First, our view was a wall with an elevator. However, if that was the 'recently renovated' room, then I don't want to see the room that wasn't renovated. The lady at the desk asked us when we were checking in if we wanted to upgrade to the recently renovated royal tower.
